Evangelism and Church Planing

I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. So, neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth. 1 Corinthians 3: 6-7

Goal:

To provide a wide range of welcoming, hospitable and caring places across our circuit where we can worship and encounter God together with those beyond our current church communities. We want to meet God in ordinary places. We will plant at least two new churches by 2025.

By:

• seeking opportunities for intentional spiritual development in all we do;
• being responsive and actively inclusive of a wide range of people;
• developing a team culture which encourages participatory and collaborative leadership;
• nurturing new leaders to drive evangelism and church planting;
• providing support in enabling change and overcoming barriers.

How can you help?

• Are you eager to explore where God is at work beyond church walls and become involved?
• Do you love listening to other people's stories and learning about their experiences of God?
• Do you enjoy sharing the story of your own faith journey?
• Are you passionate about sharing the invitation to encounter and follow Jesus?
• Are you enthusiastic about exploring new ways of being church and about meeting God in ordinary places as well as traditional church buidlings?
• Will you step out into the unknown, trusting God to lead the way?
• Do you trust in God's love and strength to carry on in the face of challenges, disappointments and resistance to change?

Then this could be your calling. We are looking for committed people who are passionate about sharing the love of God with others and exploring new ways of being church. You will be working in a team alongside a dedicated Circuit Steward .
