Karen Brooks

Senior Circuit Steward with responsibility for Worship.

I'm Karen Brooks. I've been a member of the Methodist Church in Coventry since I moving to Balsall Common with my young family. I grew up in Swindon – home of GWR – you may occasionally detect a rolling 'r' that betrays these origins. I did a degree in Chemistry at Southampton then went into teaching, moving from secondary to primary school when I returned after a break. I became a local preacher in 1999. I left teaching about a year ago giving me more time on my allotment. I enjoy art and painting, am an avid reader and have recently taken up family history.
