We find ourselves returning to the Coventry and Nuneaton Circuit for the second time since Neil
entered circuit ministry in 1985. From 1991 to 1996 we lived on the Horeston Grange estate where
Neil was the minister as well as being the County Ecumenical Officer. Being only half-time in the
Nuneaton Circuit he often preached in Coventry as well.
Even while he was training Neil spent a circuit placement in Exhall, and now we are returning to
live in Eastern Green, so that we can be closer to some of our family, after spending the last 24
years in Yorkshire.
This September Neil has been stationed in an appointment outside the Church's control, working
for an organisation called Asbestos Support Central England which works with people across the
region who have life changing or terminal Asbestos Related Diseases.
Helen has been a local preacher since 2003. After working for the Birmingham District she went on
to work in various voluntary sector jobs in the Leeds area, including 16 years as manager of a
not-for-profit day nursery. She now runs her own small business making gluten free wedding
cakes and creating art works from wool fleece and embroidery.
